It was as our great pleasure to host Marines of Company B, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion “IRON GATORS” stationed out of Jacksonville for a tour of the site on 25 July. The group received an overview of the initiative and walk-through of the grounds and to see the expanding exhibits at the Memorial.
It was an honor to have an active unit visit and also to have offers of further support in volunteer work from the Company.
According to DPAA records there still remains 3436 Marines MIA and Unaccounted-for from the WWII, Korea, and Vietnam conflicts.
