Join us for a solemn and inspiring service that will honor and pay tribute to each of the four Chaplains who sacrificed their lives for others on February 3, 1943. Recognition of their heroism will be accompanied by musical selections and a ceremonial candle-lighting.

The Four Chaplains were U.S. Army chaplains who gave their lives during World War II when the troop ship USAT Dorchester was torpedoed in 1943. Representing different faiths, they helped evacuate soldiers, gave away their life jackets, and prayed together as the ship sank—becoming an enduring symbol of selfless service, unity, and sacrifice.
