Recognition of their heroism will be accompanied by musical selections and a ceremonial candle-lighting.\n🗓 February 3\, 2026⏰ 10:00 AM📍 Chapel of the High-Speed Pass6112 POW-MIA Memorial Parkway\, Jacksonville\, FL 32221 \n🎖 Officiating: Chaplain (LTC) Derek Boucher164th Air Defense Artillery Brigade Chaplain \n🕯 Temporary museum exhibits and light refreshments will follow the service. \nThe Four Chaplains were U.S. Army chaplains who gave their lives during World War II when the troop ship USAT Dorchester was torpedoed in 1943. Representing different faiths\, they helped evacuate soldiers\, gave away their life jackets\, and prayed together as the ship sank—becoming an enduring symbol of selfless service\, unity\, and sacrifice. \nLt.
