National POW/MIA Recognition Day is held each year on the third Friday of September. 

Join us at the National POW/MIA Memorial & Museum on SATURDAY, September 21 for several activities, including a program to commemorate and honor the commitment and sacrifices made by our nation’s prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action, as well as their families, the arrival of the American Legion Riders 7 Bridge Run with special guests, a candlelight ceremony (tentative) as well as other plans being considered.
