City of Jacksonville Memorial Day Observance

Join the City of Jacksonville for a meaningful Memorial Day Observance as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The morning begins with a pre-ceremony at 8:00 AM, featuring musical performances by the Voices of Jacksonville and The Navy Band, setting a respectful and reflective tone for the day.

The official ceremony begins at 8:30 AM at the Veterans Memorial Wall, where the community will gather in tribute to Jacksonville’s fallen heroes. Attendees are encouraged to wear patriotic attire as a sign of unity and remembrance.

This annual observance serves as a powerful reminder of the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our freedoms. It is an opportunity for residents, families, veterans, and visitors alike to pause, reflect, and pay their respects.
