National POW/MIA Recognition Day 2024

National POW/MIA Recognition Day is held each year on the third Friday of September

Join us at the National POW/MIA Memorial & Museum on SATURDAY, September 21 for several activities, including a program to commemorate and honor the commitment and sacrifices made by our nation’s prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action, as well as their families. There will be aircraft and military equipment displays, museum tours, a flyover and the arrival of the American Legion Riders 7 Bridge Run riders.

We will also have a special guest U.S. Representative Aaron Bean as he visits the Memorial & Museum, and our Guest Speaker will be Harrison Conyers, Director, Military Affairs and Veterans Department for the City of Jacksonville.

A BBQ lunch for $10 will be provided by the Rotary Club of North Jacksonville along with additional coffee and food trucks.
